Great news! Christina’s Amazon show “Z: The Beginning of Everything” has been ordered to series! Be sure to watch the pilot if you haven’t already!

Following the series order for “Good Girls Revolt” and the second season renewals for “Man in the High Castle,” “Red Oaks” and “Hand of God,” Amazon has picked up three comedy series, plus one more drama, Variety has learned.

Tig Notaro’s comedy “One Mississippi” was picked up, in addition to 30-minute series “Highston” from Sacha Baron Cohen and “Z: The Beginning of Everything,” which stars Christina Ricci. The drama “Patriot” has also been picked up. Additionally, Amazon ordered kids’ series “Danger & Eggs, “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” and “Niko and the Sword of Light.”

“Z: The Beginning of Everything” is based on the life of Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, the brilliant, beautiful and talented Southern Belle who becomes the original flapper and icon of the Jazz Age in the 20s. Ricci stars as Zelda and will also serve as an exec producer. Written by Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin, the series is directed by Tim Blake Nelson and exec produced by Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon of Killer Films.
